Cotati Chiropractic - Dr. Rachel Aloy

Meet Dr. Rachel - Associate Chiropractor
Introducing Cotati Chiropractic’s new Doctor of Chiropractic, working with Dr. Judy to serve our clients: Dr. Rachel Aloy.
My path to chiropractic wasn’t a straight line. Before entering healthcare, I worked in documentary film, drawn to the art of storytelling and the opportunity to explore the experiences that shape people’s lives.
Making the transition from the arts to the sciences, I was told something that stayed with me: chiropractic isn’t just a science—it’s an art, too.
That idea changed everything. I began to see a connection between the two fields: both require curiosity, careful observation, creativity, and an appreciation for the individual. Just as every person’s story is different, every body has its own history, needs, and way of moving through the world.
Today, as a graduate of Life Chiropractic College West, I bring that same curiosity to my practice. I believe that everyone has a story to tell, and I want to understand the person behind the symptoms—not just what brings someone into my office, but how they experience their body, what matters to them, and what feeling well looks like in their life. Empathy and listening are central to the way I approach care.
I specialize in gentle, low-force chiropractic care, tailoring my approach to each person’s unique needs and goals. My philosophy is grounded in respect for the body’s innate intelligence and an appreciation for the relationship between structure, movement, and the nervous system.
I believe care should be thoughtful, collaborative, and personal—never one-size-fits-all. I have studied DNFT Directional Non-Force Technique, Activator Method, Thompson and Pierce styles of Drop Table, and gentle applications of the Diversified technique, as well as chiropractic extremities work.
I have been studying soft tissue and bodywork with Dr. Judy for several years.
I’m naturally curious about the world and the people in it, and I value the perspective that comes from stepping outside the familiar. That openness carries into my work, reminding me that there is always more to learn and that every person brings a perspective worth understanding.
For me, chiropractic is an opportunity to do meaningful work, build genuine connections, and help people feel more at home in their bodies.
